Raina Marie
Raina Marie Valentine is a cultural consultant and founder of Raina Marie LLC. With over 15 years of experience in the fine art industry, she combines deep art world knowledge, extensive production expertise, and incredible passion to deliver impactful projects and dynamic programming for clients in diverse industries worldwide. She collaborates with renowned and emerging artists to craft tailored art experiences that seamlessly integrate business acumen with artistic vision.
Prior to Raina Marie’s independent practice, she worked for 12 years at Pace Gallery, a global leading blue-chip gallery, in various roles in logistics and artist management. She served as the Director of Media Arts, founding the Media Arts department which is dedicated to developing best practices for exhibiting analog and digital artworks, as well as developed new sales strategies. This role directly contributed to increased sales of digital artworks, aided in expanding Pace’s program of exhibiting and representing interdisciplinary artists, and increased visitor attendance to media art shows.
In 2020, Raina Marie helped establish Superblue Miami, a pioneering enterprise dedicated to producing and exhibiting large-scale, immersive art installations for ticketed experiences. As a founding team member, she was instrumental in developing the organization and building the exhibitions team, overseeing production, installation, AV integration, and artwork software programming. She worked closely with artists throughout the entire creative process, from initial concept to final installation.
In 2021, she served as Exhibitions Producer for two major shows: "Every Wall is a Door" at Superblue Miami and "Drift: Fragile Future" at The Shed, New York.
Her prior experience includes positions at the International Center of Photography (NY), Hunter College Art Galleries (NY), and Bechtler Museum of Modern Art (NC). Raina holds a Masters in Art History from Hunter College, completed in 2012.
Raina Marie specializes in Media Arts with expertise in emerging technologies and their market impact. She has established herself as a global speaker while contributing exhibition reviews and artist interviews. As Co-Founder of PWW3 (Portraits of Women in Web3), she organizes speaker series and networking events supporting women, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC communities.
A respected voice in both fine art and Web3 industries, Raina bridges traditional and digital art worlds. She champions innovation, diversity, and sustainability in contemporary art and public spaces while embracing cutting-edge technology.
